BOSTON, Sept. 22, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The National Patient Safety Foundation (NPSF), an independent, not-for-profit organization that has served as a central voice for patient safety since 1997, today announces its participation in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) of Eastern Massachusetts.

The CFC is the official workplace giving campaign of the Federal government. The mission of the CFC is to promote and support philanthropy through a program that is employee focused, cost-efficient, and effective in providing federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all.

The campaign, which allows federal and military employees to donate to NPSF through the CFC, runs from September 1, 2016 to December 15, 2016.

“Individual donors are increasingly important to the NPSF mission,” said Tejal K. Gandhi, MD, MPH, CPPS. “We are especially honored to be accepted into the CFC this year and we very much appreciate the support of federal and military employees.”
